We are committed to safe recruitment because our work involves working with vulnerable adults. To qualify for selection the staff should be of good character and be willing to have an Interview and have DBS enhanced disclosure checks, at initial registration and annually. Two references, one of which should be previous or current employer.
New Staff will have induction, mandatory training and work under supervision until deemed competent by a qualified skilled worker. New carers will have regular supervision. Carers are introduced to policies worker handbook and complete care certificate on induction. All carers have annual appraisal and annual mandatory training. Carers are expected to work towards NVQ level 2 and opportunities for further training will be for all carers
